Crested Butte Food Festival Heads Into the Mountains

Calling all Crested Butte foodies: The Taste of Crested Butte is taking place March 29 at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. After a nice spring afternoon of skiing down the slopes, locals can enjoy some tasty treats at the one-day event called Crafted, which will take place at Ten Peaks off the Painter Boy lift.

Attendees can enjoy samples of delicious cuisine while looking out onto 10 stunning mountain vistas at Crafted. A few of the featured Colorado restaurants at the event include 9380 Spirits and Food, Butte 66 Roadhouse Bar and Grille, Donita’s Cantina, Ginger Cafe, The Ice Bar at Uley’s Cabin and Maxwells. The diverse and varied food offered here can’t go without some fantastic brews and spirits from local businesses.

Colorado Brewers featured at the event are some of the finest in the region, including Gunnison Brewery, Revolution Brewing, Telluride Brewing Co., Tivoli Beer, Westminster Brewing Co., Odell Brewing, Crazy Mountain, Great Divide Brewing Co., The Eldo and Elevation Beer Co. Overland Distillery and Feisty Spirits.

Even those who don’t feel like skiing can attend the event, but to do so they must contact the event team to reserve a ride to get up to the mountainside event.

The website states: “Tickets for this on-mountain tasting fest can be purchased in advance for $30 and on the day-of in CBMR’s Adventure Center for $35.  Discounted lift tickets are available for $50 online and in the Adventure Center.”
