Ski season isn’t here quite yet, but that doesn’t mean that Crested Buttians aren’t already thinking about it! After hearing that Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) was lowering the prices on their adult season passes by more than 40%, the Nordic Inn created the first-ever B&B/Ski Season Pass package to bring in more business.
For visitors to the Crested Butte area, this package really is worth considering. The unique pass combines unlimited skiing throughout the winter at Crested Butte Mountain Resort and 10 nights of B&B lodging at the Nordic Inn. Pass holders can book their stay at the Nordic Inn any time between November 20, 2013 and April 6, 2014 with no blackout dates.
Adds Nordic Inn Innkeeper Kim Stone, “It is the perfect solution for people who want to ski Crested Butte multiple times a season and desire the flexibility to visit during the best snow conditions or when it is most convenient. With Crested Butte Mountain Resort making skiing more affordable this winter, we thought we would do the same with a bed-and-breakfast experience to match.”
Prices for the pass are $1,899 for a single skier, or $2,498 for two people traveling together, which equals a significant discount at $1,249 each. For avid skiers, Nordic Inn says that additional nights of lodging can be purchased at a 40% discount off their regular rates. Additionally, for those pass-holders who have already purchased a Crested Butte Peak Pass, the 10-night B&B only pass is available for $1,450, or $145 per night double-occupancy. Nordic Inn says that those interested in cross country skiing or other winter activities are also eligible to purchase the B&B only pass.
The B&B/Ski Pass is only on sale until September 27, so those who are interested are encouraged to act quickly. In addition to a Signature King Room, the pass includes daily continental breakfast, free parking, heated boot dryers, ski/snowboard storage, a hot tub and fire pit area, and access CBMR’s free electric shuttle that will drop you off at the base of the mountain. Guests can also use Mountain Express’s free bus to access historic downtown Crested Butte during their stay.
